Punjab Anganwadi Recruitment 2026: The Directorate of Social Security, Women & Child Development (SSWCD), Punjab has released the latest notification for the recruitment of 6110 Anganwadi Worker (AWW), Anganwadi Helper (AWH) posts on a direct recruitment basis. Eligible candidates can apply online for Punjab Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 starting from 25 February 2026. Only female candidates are eligible to apply for these posts.

The recruitment will be conducted online through the official website sswcd.punjab.gov.in. No offline applications will be accepted. Age Limit: The age limit to apply for AWW: 21 to 37 years and For AWH: 18 to 37 years. Age will be calculated as per the last date of online application. The age relaxation will be given as per the rules of Punjab Govt.

Residential Eligibility

Candidates must be residents of the concerned village/ward where the Anganwadi Center is located.

Valid residential proof includes:

• Domicile Certificate
• Voter ID with current voter list entry
• Aadhaar Card (minimum 6 months old)
• Husband’s documents for married women (where applicable)

Without valid residential proof, the application will not be considered.
